As a grad student – I find all of this to be true. Professors have to make a no-computer policy for their classes. At the same time, as someone who has ADHD, if you are going to ask me to sit still for a whole class with nothing but a pencil in my hand and listen to you talk non-stop….I’m going to have a nervous breakdown. I really do listen when I’m tapping out twitter on my computer during class. Often, I’m making commentary on what’s being said in class.
