Psalm 8
LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Have you ever stopped at night and looked up into the sky and realized that God made everything?
Also, that the moon and the starts are works of His fingers?
That’s a BIG God. It’s amazing to think that God is so big and yet we are so small. Even though we are so small, He sent His one and only Son to die for us. It’s amazing to think about that God would do so much for little old us.
Now let me ask you this… what’s your problem?
What I mean is…what’s your problem that’s too big for God?
Sometimes we can look at our problem and be blinded by what we see is this huge problem or circumstance. We can think it’s too big for God or He won’t help me in this situation.
Let me remind you of something:
The God that placed the stars in the sky set the planets on their axis, and who gives life to the Sun, is the same God that cares for your little “big” problem. I want to encourage you today; no problem is ever too big for our God. Next time you pray for your problem remember you’re praying to the same God who places the moon and starts in the sky and He is the God of the impossible.
